Saura art originates from the beautiful Odisha ,nestled in the eastern part of the country.Saura painting is a style of wall mural paintings associated with the Saura tribals of the state of Odisha in India. These paintings, also called ikons (or ekons) are visually similar to Warli paintings but are more finer, circular and uses soft lines. The motifs are inspired from tribes, nature, flora and fauna.
Minor irregularities are the uniqueness of handlooms and hand paintings and make them one of a kind.
