    Berhampur Phoda Kumbha in contrasting contemporary borders. Introduced at Berhampur town in the 14th century AD by the Mohuri Kings.The Berhampur phoda Kumbha has a unique pattern of weaving, particularly the designs in the contemporary temple borders.

    Woven in Berhampur, “The Silk City of Odisha”, the Berhampuri Patta is unique for its thick silk, which has a special texture. Our earnest attempt is to share information about this priceless weave; which carries a 200 years tradition in its weaving pattern.
    Due to its unique weave, its been GI tagged, which are linked with the culture, traditions, history etc of a geographical location.
