PRE-ORDER POLICY

At Fabodisha, every saree is a celebration of Odisha’s rich weaving heritage. Our Pre-Order collection allows you to commission select sarees that are specially woven for you by skilled artisans.

1. Made Especially for You

All Pre-Order sarees are woven especially against your order. Since these sarees are handcrafted, the weaving process begins only after the order is confirmed.

2. Delivery Timeline

The estimated delivery period for Pre-Order sarees is 45 to 90 days from the date of order confirmation.

The exact timeline may vary depending on:

* The complexity of the weave
* The intricacy of the motifs and zari work
* The weaving technique involved
* Availability of specific yarns, zari and other materials
* The artisan’s weaving process and finishing requirements

As each saree is individually handcrafted, the 45–90 day timeline is an estimated delivery window and not a guaranteed delivery date.

3. Handcrafted Variations

Each Fabodisha saree is individually woven by skilled artisans. Minor variations in weave, texture, motifs, colour or finishing may naturally occur and are a unique characteristic of an authentic handloom saree. These variations are not considered defects.

4. Pre-Order Cancellation

Once a Pre-Order is confirmed and the weaving process has commenced, the order cannot be cancelled, as the saree is being specially created for you.

5. Returns & Exchanges

Pre-Order sarees are specially woven against individual orders and therefore are not eligible for return or exchange, except in the unlikely event of a manufacturing defect or an incorrect product being delivered.

Any such concern must be brought to our attention within 48 hours of delivery, along with clear photographs and/or video of the product and packaging.

6. Updates on Your Order

We understand that waiting for a handcrafted saree is part of the experience. Our team will keep you informed about the progress of your Pre-Order wherever possible and will share an estimated dispatch update once the saree is nearing completion.
